Warm temps to peak Monday, then fall off; wind advisory issued

Temperatures around here that could cause an elf to get in one last lawn mowing are going to be ending Monday.

Monday’s high temperature is forecast by the National Weather Service to reach 61. It will be accompanied by a good chance of rain and a wind advisory (20 to 35 mph with gusts to 45 mph overnight) Monday afternoon and night.

For the rest of the week, high temperatures will be in the 30s and then slip into the 20s. Lows will be in the teens starting Wednesday night.

Next time out, this elf might want to think about a snow plow.
