Wheatland School District holding developmental screens for 2.5-5 year olds on Oct. 13

Wheatland School District will be conducting developmental screenings of children between the ages of 2.5 and 5 years old in the district on Friday, Oct. 13, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Wheatland Center School,

A developmental screening is a series of activities designed to obtain information related to the following skill areas:

  • Listening and thinking.
  • Speech and communication.
  • Physical coordination.
  • Eye-hand coordination.
  • Personal-social development.

The purpose of the screening is to identify students who may be in need of additional supports or services that are offered through Wheatland Center School, 6606 368th Ave., Wheatland.
