Aug. 16, 2017 lake test results: Paddock Hooker Lake Association beach closed; Silver Lake County Park beach and Center Lake under caution

The Paddock Hooker Lake Association beach on Paddock Lake is closed to swimming and the beaches at Silver Lake County Park on Silver Lake and Center Lake are under swimming cautions after testing on Tuesday showed elevated E.coli levels there.

Cautions are issued for results of more than 235 E.coli/100 mL. Beaches are closed to swimming for a test result of more than 1,000 E.coli/100 mL.

Tuesday’s results at PHLA were >2,419 E.coli/100 mL.

Tuesday results at Silver Lake County Park were 299 E.coli/100 mL.

Tuesday’s results at Center Lake were 365 E.coli/100 mL.

Salem Lakes — Silver Lake-county park, 299 E.coli/100 mL; Silver Lake-DeWitt Park, 14 E.coli/100 mL; Center Lake, 365 E.coli/100 mL; Lake Shangri-la #1 (East), 19 E.coli/100 mL; Lake Shangri La #2 (South/East) 1 E.coli/100 mL; Rock Lake, 102 E.coli/100 mL; Camp Lake, 27 E.coli/100 mL.

Paddock Lake — Old Settlers, 12 E.coli/100 mL; Northshore Beach Association, 4 E.coli/100 mL; Hoag Beach, 6 E.coli/100 mL; PHLA Beach, 2419 E.coli/100 mL.
