Multi-Agency Response Center to be opened at Riverview School Wednesday

A Multi-Agency Response Center is being activated to provide assistance to flood victims. This center, to be located at Riverview School in Silver Lake, is expected to open later this week.

State Rep. Samantha Kerkman, at a press conference in Silver Lake Monday afternoon, likened it to a resource fair for people effected by flooding in Kenosha County. The aim will be to have experts available to address a wide range of subjects from replacing vital documents, to well testing, to insurance and relief questions.

Tentative hours will be noon from 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Kerkman said.

The school was purposely chosen for its capacity to handle a large number of people, Kerkman said.
