Units responding for car in flood waters in Silver Lake

At about 7:43 p.m., Salem Lakes Fire/Rescue units are responding to a report of a vehicle in flood waters in the 30300 block of Highway F in Silver Lake.

Per dispatch: Vehicle in flood waters in roadside ditch.

UPDATE 7:47 p.m. — Deputy on the scene reports occupants are now out of vehicle. Asks rescue to respond to west side of the scene.

UPDATE 7:49 p.m. — Twin Lakes Rescue and Randall Fire Department requested to respond to Highway W and F for staging.

UPDATE 7:55 p.m. — Twin Lakes response called off by incident command.

    Waste of resources! Let them figure it out on their own. There are barricades everywhere, and if someone chooses to ignore the barricades, that’s on THEM! I’ve been seeing it since this all started. People think they “know better”…they do NOT! Let them suffer!
