Volunteers work to help flooding victims clean-up

The national weather service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for an area of Wisconsin that includes Kenosha County. The watch is in effect until midnight. UPDATE about 10:30 p.m. — Watch has been cancelled.

Units responding to crash in Slades Corners

At about 12:26 p.m., Town of Wheatland Fire Department and Twin Lakes Rescue units are responding to a crash at Highway 50 and P in Slades Corners. Per dispatch: Crash involves a water delivery truck, another truck and a minivan. UPDATE 12:41 p.m. — Westbound traffic being diverted at 392nd Avenue, deputy reports to dispatch.

Flash flood watch issued

The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch for an area of Wisconsin that includes Kenosha County. The warning will be on effect from Friday afternoon through Saturday morning. Rain later Friday and Saturday morning could result in 1 to 3 inches of rain in some locations, the watch says.

Camp Lake Park grand opening and Concert in the Park on July 23 cancelled

The grand opening of Camp Lake Park and Concert in the Park there on July 23, has been cancelled, the village of Salem Lakes has announced. The festivities are expected to be re-scheduled for a later date.

The Paddock Hooker Lake Association beach on Paddock Lake will remain closed through the weekend after follow-up testing Wednesday again showed elevated E.coli levels.
