Movie and program on teen digital addiction set for Central HS on March 16

smart-phone-sxc-Lora-Bates-webIn collaboration with Brighton, Bristol, Paris, Salem, and Wheatland School Districts, Westosha Central High School will present SCREENAGERS: Growing Up in the Digital Age on Thursday, March 16 (original day changed due to weather). Doors open at 5 p.m., movie starts at 5:30 p.m., panel discussion from 6:45-7:30 p.m.

This documentary addresses pre-teen and teen struggles over social media, video games and internet addiction. The film seeks to empower teens to best navigate the digital world and provides practical resources to help them do it.

Parents are encouraged to attend with their pre-teen/teen. After the movie, there will be a panel discussion. The panel will include students, staff, and members of the community.
