Winter weather advisory issued

snowflakepaper-mf-sideshowmomKenosha County has now joined the rest of southern Wisconsin with a winter weather advisory in effect until midnight Thursday.

The forecast has not changed a lot. Rain, maybe mixed with sleet, is likely through the earlier part of the day. Rain is likely to pick up in the middle of the afternoon and then switch over to snow around 7 p.m.

The high temperature Wednesday is forecast for 39.

There’s a persistent 20 percent chance of snow showers Thursday through Sunday.
