The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch for an area of Wisconsin that includes Western Kenosha County.
The watch will go into effect at 6 p.m., Saturday and last until midnight Monday.
The local forecast for that period calls for 3 to 9 inches of snow accumulation Saturday night through Sunday night. In the latest version, chances of snow of have been increased to 50 percent Saturday after 4 p.m., 90 percent Saturday night, 80 percent Sunday, 60 percent Sunday night and 30 percent Monday morning.
The watch itself calls for 6 to 10 inches of snow accumulation.
Winds could be 10 to 20 mph during the watch period. Travel could be impacted.
