40s — even 50s — return to the weather forecast

hot-thermometer-istockUnseasonably warm high temperatures are returning this week to the National Weather Service forecast for Western Kenosha County.

Monday’s high may reach 49, Tuesday’s 53, Wednesday’s 45 and Thursday’s 41.

The wettest period looks to be Monday and Monday night. Rain is a virtual certainty starting this afternoon about 1 p.m. and continuing through 10 p.m. There are also slight chances of rain Tuesday night and Wednesday night.

High temperatures are expected to be back in the high 30s starting Friday.
