Trick or treat for this afternoon and evening looks to be dry and of average Halloween temperature, says the latest local National Weather Service forecast.

Monday’s high should be 59 with no chance of rain. Temps during the trick or treat hours of 4 to 7 p.m. in Salem, Twin Lakes, Bristol, Paddock Lake and Randall and 5 to 8 p.m. should be in the mid 50s still.

That might be in part because temps are going to warm up quite a bit for Tuesday, reaching a high of 71.

Showers creep into the forecast Tuesday night and Wednesday has an 80 percent chance of rain with a high of 61.

Here are some Halloween weather stats for Milwaukee and Madison from NWS.
