Local fire departments responding to Kenosha for mutual aid

At about 8:37 a.m., Western Kenosha County Fire Departments are responding for mutual aid to the Kenosha Fire Department for a fire at 64th Street and 28th Avenue in Kenosha.

Bristol Fire And Rescue and Town of Salem Fire/Rescue are being requested to respond with chiefs for change of quarters and Paris Fire and Rescue is being requested to respond with an engine also for a change of quarters.

UPDATE 8:56 a.m. — Bristol FD now responding with a squad to the scene and Salem F/R responding with an ambulance to the scene.

UPDATE 9:48 a.m. — Town of Wheatland Fire Department responding for change of quarters.

UPDATE 9:51 a.m. — Kenosha News is reporting that the fire is in an abandoned commercial building.
