Pringle Nature Center hosting Celebrate Lake Michigan and Perseids events Friday

Pringle Nature Center, 9800 160th Ave., Bristol will be hosting two events on Friday, Aug. 14:

  • Pringle will be a part of Celebrate Lake Michigan Day on Friday, Aug. 14, from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Lake Michigan Day is a time set aside to consider our connection to Lake Michigan’s freshwater resources. Pringle is celebrating by having a bird walk with Hoy Audubon’s Rick Fare at the park. Free giveaways to the first 20 people. This event is free
  • Pringle Nature Center will be holding a Perseids Meteor Shower Viewing on Friday, Aug. 14, from 9:30 to 11 p.m. The Perseids is one of the best meteor showers to observe, producing up to 60 meteors per hour at their peak. Join other participants for a short, informal talk about the Perseids. Please dress for the weather. Registration is required Please call 262-857-8008 or register online. General Public: $5.

Pringle Nature Center is located inside Bristol Woods County Park.
