As a team building event the Wilmot High School Varsity Cheerleaders volunteered at the Libertyville, Illinois Feed My Starving Children Center, where they packaged in a two- hour period 40 boxes (2,000 meals). FMSC is a Christian nonprofit that provides nutritionally complete meals for starving, malnourished and hungry people. The prepackaged dry meals, costing less than a quarter each to make, are funded and assembled by donor-volunteers in the United States. The food is then distributed worldwide to children and families in various community settings; orphanages, schools, clinics, refugee camps and nutrition programs.
