Corrinn Favaro featured soloist at UW Milwaukee Peck School of the Arts UWAY concert

Corrinn Favaro, a senior at Wilmot Union High School was a featured Flute soloist at UW Milwaukee Peck School of the Arts UWAY concert. Each year UWM Youth Wind Ensemble (UWAY) holds auditions for their annual Concerto Competition. Corrinn was this year’s winner, where she performed Concertino by Cecil Chaminade. Corrinn has been a member of UWAY for the past 4 years and plans to be in a music program during her College years.

The UWAY program is an out-reach program of the Peck School of the Arts Department of Music. The UWAY program is designed to supplement the fine instruction students receive from their school music programs. UWM Youth Wind Ensemble is under the direction of Professor of Music at UWM John Climer and John Woger, director of bands at Menomonee Falls High School.
