Great Kenosha Pizza Bake-Off is Sunday

pizza-sxc-Stephen-Coburn-webThe Kenosha Area Noon Optimist Club’s annual “Great Kenosha Pizza Bake-Off” will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, March 1 at the UAW Local 72 Headquarters, 3615 Washington Road (wheelchair accessible & ample parking), Kenosha.

Attendees at the Great Kenosha Pizza Bake- Off, can sample over 30 pizzas served from local pizza establishments all under one roof, and vote for your favorite tasting pizza to win this year’s “People’s Choice Award”!

This year’s Celebrity Judges will be sampling pizzas in a blind taste-test for the “Critics Choice Award”.  WLIP’s Wake Up Call, Bill Lawrence; Darren Hillock, westofthei.com; Liz Snyder, Kenosha News; and Tamie Falk-Day, Athletic Director, UW-Parkside are just some of the Judges on the Celebrity Panel!

There will be an exciting Silent Auction Area, entertainment by Bill Lynch; a special appearance by Miss Kenosha 2015, Miss Kiersten Gonzales; and a visit from popular local Mascots, like Torchie from Carthage, Trojan from Tremper, and Kenosha Kingfish Mascot, King Elvis just to name a few.

Beverages, and delicious cupcakes provided by Linnea Bakery, Kandra’s Cupcakes and Robin’s Nest Cakery will be available for purchase at the Bake-Off.

Tickets cost $12 at the door for adults and $6 at the door for children 10 and younger.

The Great Kenosha Pizza Bake-Off 2015 is sponsored by Staffing Partners and presented by the Kenosha Area Noon Optimist & Junior Optimist Club of Kenosha. Proceeds from this event go to support Optimist youth programs in the community. This includes our major sponsorship of the Boys & Girls Club’s annual “Youth of the Year” Scholarship Program.
