Units responding for stand-by in Twin Lakes

At about 9:02 a.m., Twin Lakes Fire and Rescue units are responding to a business in the 100 block of Lance Drive in Twin Lakes for a stand-by.

Per dispatch: An engine and an ambulance requested.

UPDATE 9:04 a.m. — Richmond Fire and Rescue being dispatched to respond with ambulance for stand-by.

UPDATE 9:07 a.m. — Per dispatch: Fire and rescue vehicles have been requested by county bomb squad, which is on site at the Post Office.

UPDATE 11:11 a.m. — Per Twin Lakes Police Chief Dale Racer; Call was for a suspicious package, “turned out not to be any danger to the public or property.”

    We work very close by, is there an update? I see the fire truck has moved, but that the post office is still blocked and there are still responders there. thanks!
