Kenosha attorney David Wilk has been appointed a Kenosha County Circuit Court judge, Gov. Scott Walker’s office announced today.
Wilk was appointed to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Wilbur Warren. Wilk will have to run for re-election in April to retain the seat. Warren’s retirement will take effect Aug. 18.
David Wilk is the son of current Circuit Court judge Michael Wilk.
