Rain and thunderstorms expected after 2 a.m.

At 9:11 p.m., the latest forecast from the National Weather Service says thunderstorm are likely here after 2 a.m. — with the hourly weather graph indicating they are almost certain by 4 a.m. That said, lightning is already flashing in Paddock Lake. A 70 percent chance of thunderstorms continues through Saturday.

Units responding to I-94 for smoking vehicle

At about 8:02 p.m., Bristol Fire and Rescue and Pleasant Prairie Fire and Rescue units are responding to a report of a smoking vehicle along I-94. Per dispatch: Caller reported a smoking vehicle along the northbound lanes somewhere between Highway C and 50.

Trevor-Wilmot School ALS ice bucket challenge (VIDEO)
