Twin Lakes village government has made the following announcement regarding aquatic plant treatment next week:
Treatment for Eurasian Water Milfoil for Lake Mary and Elizabeth will take place on Monday. June 9 and Tuesday, June 10, 2014. There is a 24-hour ban on swimming at the shore treated areas only and will be marked by a Bright Yellow Tag Board at the shoreline and on piers. This treatment does not affect lake habitat or consumption of fish, however, use of the lake water for your garden plants or lawn within 21 days after treatment, will cause an adverse reaction. Posting will also be placed on the Community Event Sign at Central Park, launches, entrances of subdivisions and various places within the Village.
