County Executive Jim Krueser delivered his 2014 State of the County speech Tuesday at the Kenosha County Board meeting.
According to a copy of the text supplied by Kreuser’s office, the speech focused mostly on the economic development that is occurring along I-94 and the positive effect that has had on local economic indicators. The text says:
With our economic development partners, the Kenosha Area Business Alliance, approximately 3,000 jobs, over $500 million of Capital Investment, and roughly 4 million square feet of new development or absorption has occurred in the past 18 months. That was in the past 18 months.
