Units responding for investigation in Bristol

At about 8:23 p.m., Bristol Fire and Rescue units are responding to the intersection of Highway 45 and Highway C in Bristol for an investigation. Per dispatch: A caller is reporting a large cloud of white smoke in the intersection. No flames seen. UPDATE 8:29 p.m. — Fire unit on the scene. Nothing showing.

Dive team responding for possible water emergency in Kenosha

At about 4:53 p.m., the Kenosha County Dive team and Kenosha Fire Department units are responding for a possible water emergency call in the 2800 block of Alford Park Drive. UPDATE 4:55 p.m. — Kenosha Fire command says balloons were in the water. Dive team told to stand down.

Salem Grade School Family 5K Run/Walk

Families gathered at Salem Grade School for the 5K run/walk. It began at 8:30 a.m. Fee was $10 for an individual, $15 for a family.
