There’s some wetter and cooler weather — and possibly a little snow — on the way for Western Kenosha County, says the National Weather Service forecast.
There’s a decent chance of some rain and maybe even a thunderstorm this morning. Here’s hoping the several scheduled Easter egg hunts today get in without too much yucky weather. The strongest chance of rain today starts up about 7 p.m. and continues into early Sunday morning, according to the hourly forecast. It eases a little about 4 a.m to 10 a.m., but increases again after that and holds steady through about 6 a.m. Monday. Some of that precipitation Sunday night and Monday might be snow, with less than an inch of accumulation.
Temperatures are going to peak today with a high of 71. Sunday’s high is forecast for 56, Monday’s is 43, Tuesday’s is 41 and Wednesday’s 48. We should be back into the 50s for Thursday and Friday.
