Units responding for fire in Randall

At 3:24 p.m., Randall Fire Department, Twin Lakes Fire Department, Town of Wheatland Fire Department and Silver Lake Fire Department and sheriff’s deputies are responding for a report of a structure fir ein the 10700 block of 395th Avenue in Randall.

UPDATE 3:26 p.m. — Dispatch reports that this is actually a grass fire, but is close to a chicken coop and a house on the property. Twin Lakes Police responding to assist.

UPDATE 3:28 p.m. — Twin Lakes Police officer on scene reports grass burning and some smoke coming from chicken coop.

UPDATE 3:31 p.m. — Police officer reports that grass fire about 15 feet from house.

UPDATE 3:40 p.m. — Randall fire command reports fire is out. All units not on scene released to return to quarters.
