Winter weather advisory issued for Thursday morning

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for an area of Wisconsin that includes Kenosha County that starts at 3 a.m. Thursday and is set to expire at noon Thursday.

A wintry mix of precipitation is expected to start after 3 a.m. first as snow, then freezing rain and sleet and gradually changing to mostly rain. Snow and ice may make roads slippery in places.

The high temperature Thursday is forecast for 46.
