Units responding for CO alarm in Salem

At 1:40 p.m., Town of Salem Fire/Rescue units are responding to a report of a sounding carbon monoxide/smoke alarm at a home in the 9400 block of 275th Avenue in Salem.

Per dispatch: Homeowner returned after being gone for two weeks to find alarm sounding. No smoke seen; no CO symptoms being experienced.

UPDATE 2:03 p.m. — Faulty detector. All Salem FD units returning to quarters.
