Local departments responding for mutual aid to Waterford

At about 8:16 a.m., local fire departments are responding to a a MABAS box alarm for a fire in Waterford.

Kenosha Area Fire Rescue Scanner on Facebook is reporting that the fire is at First and Main in Waterford.

Responding with tenders (tankers) are: Bristol Fire and Rescue, Town of Salem Fire/Rescue, Silver Lake Fire Department, Somers Fire and Rescue and Pleasant Prairie Fire and Rescue. Mustering for the tenders is at Town of Wheatland Fire Department in New Munster.

Paris Fire Department is being asked to respond with a chief.

UPDATE 8:18 p.m. — Paris now being asked to respond with a tender as well as an alternate for Silver Lake, which cannot respond.

    The reason Silver Lake Tender is unavailable is that it is out of service for maintenance.
