A golf outing will be held in October to benefit the family of a recent Central High School graduate and former golf team member who died of ovarian cancer in August. The event will also benefit raising awareness of ovarian cancer.
The Taylor Clark Memorial Golf Outing will take place Saturday, Oct. 12 at Brighton Dale Links. The outing will start with a 9 a.m. shotgun start, with a four-player scramble format 18-hole round. A banquet will follow the golf at 2 p.m. Golf is $65 per golfer; cost for just banquet is $25. Sign up is here or by calling 262-925-8004.
Clark died on Aug. 27. She was diagnosed with a very rare and aggressive form of ovarian cancer last June. At Central, Clark was a four-year member and team captain of the golf team, earning All-Southern Lakes Conference and All-County honors. She planned to attend UW-Stevens Point and play on the Golf Team.
