At 9:10 p.m., Paris Fire and Rescue units are responding to a report of burning in the 13300 block of Highway N in Paris. Dispatch identified it as a bonfire. UPDATE 9:14 p.m. — Fire chief on the scene says no deputy needed.

Units responding for possible injury at Bong

At 7:46 p.m., Kansasville Fire Department units, a sheriff’s deputy and a Department of Natural Resources warden are responding to a possible injury at the ATV area at Richard Bong State Recreation Area in Beighton. Patient is in the parking lot of the ATV area and may have a broken leg, dispatch reports.

Units responding for mutual aid in Illinois

At 12:02 p.m., Bristol Fire and Rescue and Pleasant Prairie Fire and Rescue are responding to a mutual aid request from an Illinois fire department for a medical call on I-94 at about th 1.5 mile marker in Lake County. Patient is a woman in a car having a medical problem.

Man found guilty in murder of Trevor woman

James Ealy, accused of the murder of Mary Hutchison of Trevor in 2006, was found guilty today by a Lake County Circuit Court jury, the Associated Press is reporting.
