Town of Wheatland Fire Department Auxiliary will host Pictures with Santa  from 11 a.m.  to 2 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 2 at the Town of Wheatland Fire Department, 34011 Geneva Road, New Munster. There will be snacks, crafts, and the kids will be able to explore the fire trucks with the firefighters.

Bristol renews contract with Sheriff’s Department

The Bristol Village Board Monday renewed its contract for police protection with the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department. The year’s contract, which provides additional police coverage for the village,  cost the village about $280,000.
