Randall considering no parking zone on 92nd street

The Randall Town Board is considering designating a no parking zone along a portion of 92nd Street.

Town ordinances give the Town Board that power, said Chairman Bob Stoll at the board’s regular meeting Thursday.

Specific boundaries will need to be declared if the zone is put into effect, but the area under consideration is around 406th Avenue.

The zone is needed to help preserve the condition of the road, board members said.

“The town made a significant investment in redoing the road there,” said Supervisor Randy Kaskin. “I’d hate to see the town’s investment destroyed by someone who thinks they still can park there.”
