Units responding to Central HS for injury

At 8:54 p.m., Salem Fire/Rescue units are responding to a trauma with injury at Central High School. There is a department member on scene who is requesting the response. Patient is a 16-year-old male with a neck injury. There is a football game going on tonight at the school.

Volleyball courts available at Salem Community Park

New volleyball courts recently opened at Salem Community Park, 9410 256 th Ave, Salem. The courts are professional sized and available for public use. The town Highway Department designed and built the courts. Materials were estimated to cost about $6,600, which came from the Park Development Fund, which consists largely of impact fees collected from development within the town.
