Salem Egg Hunt 2012 coverage

Salem Town Hall was the site of the Spring Fling Vendor/Craft/Bake Sale, which included an Easter Egg Hunt this afternoon. Here’s some video (by Maggie Hillock) of scenes from the hunt:

Westosha Kiwanis Egg Hunt 2012 coverage

Westosha Kiwanis Club hosted its annual Easter Egg Hunt today at Salem School. Besides the main attraction, the event included an appearance by the Easter Bunny and the chance to get a good look at the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department armored vehicle. The hunters were grouped by ages. Here’s some video of the action (by Maggie Hillock):

Aurora Pharmacies in Paddock Lake and Twin Lakes closing today

The Aurora Pharmacies in Twin Lakes and Paddock Lake have been sold to Walgreens. Those two Aurora Pharmacies were among 11 sold to Walgreens, said Adam Beeson, an Aurora spokesman. Lows in the 30s forecast for next three nights

The National Weather Service is calling for low temperatures in the 30s the next three nights. Tonight, with a low of 35, should be the coldest and see patches of frost. Temperatures are expected to rebound some this weekend, with lows in the 40s and 50s Saturday and Sunday respectively.

Salem Fire/Rescue firefighters participate in Lung Association’s Fight for Air Climb

Eight Salem Fire/Rescue firefighters participated in The American Lung Association’s Fight for Air Climb in Milwaukee on March 17.
