Christ Lutheran to host spaghetti dinner

A spaghetti dinner fundraiser will take place Wednesday, Feb. 2, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church, 24929 75th St., Paddock Lake. All are welcome. Complete dinner (salad, garlic bread and beverages) is $5: ages 6-12 $3; age 5 and under are free. Also serving take-out ($5). To order, call 843-2631 before 6:30 p.m.

Blizzard warning issued for Tues-Wed; schools reacting; deputies preparing

About 1 inch of snow yesterday; maybe another inch tonight

We measured about one inch of snow here at the West of the I weather railing for snow fall yesterday, just what the National Weather Service was predicting. But when shoveling, it sure seemed like more. We could get another inch of accumulation tomorrow, according to the forecast.

Salem C basketball team takes third in tournament

The National Weather Service is forecast about one inch of snow accumulation today. And, high temperatures are forecast to be in the 30s and 20s through Monday.
