At 10:26 p.m., Paris Fire and Rescue units are responding to a  business in the 1800 block of  the West Frontage Road, Paris for an investigation of smoke seen by a passerby. UPDATE 10:32 p.m. — Initial fire responder on scene says smoke is steam and not from a fire. Additional response being called off.

At 2:52 p.m., sheriff’s deputies are responding to a report of a crash on I-94, in the northbound lanes north of Highway 50. Dispatch reports two vehicles are involved, no injuries are being reported and the vehicles are not blocking traffic.

Destiny Basketball try-out next week

White Christmas? About 2 inches whiter says NWS

The latest National Weather Service forecast for snow calls for about an inch of accumulation during the day and another inch tonight for the Salem area. My humble observation is that it looks like it’s sticking pretty good to the roads in Paddock Lake. At about 3:50 p.m., there was about .25 inch on the West of the I weather railing.

At 4:06 p.m., Salem Fire/Rescue and Silver Lake Rescue are responding to a report of a rolled over car along Highway 50 near Highway B. Deputy on scene reports that there is a single occupant of the vehicle, who is not trapped. The are reporting a laceration on the chin.
