Units responding to report of grass fire

At 2:36 p.m., Salem Fire/Rescue units are responding to the report of a grass fire in the ditch near the intersection of Highways JB and EW.

UPDATE 2:42 p.m. — Personnel on scene reports that fire is small and being extinguished.

UPDATE 2:49 p.m. — Fire extinguished. All units returning to quarters.
