After years of discussion and planning Bristol is ready to show its Smart growth Plan to the public — in a few months anyway.

The state mandated land use plan will be the subject of a series of meetings March 2, after action taken this week by the Town Board and interim Village Board.

The preliminary plan is to have an open house information meeting starting at 6 or 6:30 p.m. That meeting will be followed by a public hearing starting at 7 p.m. to gather official feedback from the public. That would be followed by a joint meeting of the village and town plan commissions and boards to consider adoption of the plan.
