One-day farmers market to be held in Bristol Nov. 7

A farmers’ market will be held on Saturday, Nov. 7 from 8 a.m. to noon in cooperation with the Second Annual Rural Landowner conference and trade show. Individuals can attend the farmers’ market and trade show only or can stay and learn about a variety of topics related to small scale farming and living in rural areas.

Included in the farmers market will be products such as mushrooms and a variety of preserved items from River Valley Ranch, alpaca fibers from Earthcare Suri Alpacas LLC, eggs and beef from BSW Farm in Union Grove, artisan cheeses from Decatur Dairy as well as homemade chips from Frank’s Gourmet Chips. Additional products that will be available include honey, soap, vegetables, apples and more.

The farmers market will be held at the Kenosha County Center parking lot at the corners of Highways 45 and 50 in Bristol.
